The big boys tend to be doing well in this season’s UCL after two games so far. Surprise is Man United. Picking all 6 points from their first two games against PSG and Leipzig. This week’s UCL football predictions is aimed at seeing us gather at least 10 odds we can stake on. Check our livescores page for more info these games and stay updated with results.

Chelsea vs Rennes

Chelsea are starting to hit their stride with big improvements at the back helped by the introduction of ex-Rennes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and former Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva. Frank Lampard’s side have kept four clean sheets in a row and have racked up seven goals across their last two.

After a strong start to the season, Rennes have hit a rough patch and the absence of key midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has been a big blow. The French side did at least win 2-1 at the weekend to end a four-game winless streak.

Zenit vs Lazio

Zenit ended a three-match losing streak with a 2-0 win at Khimki over the weekend. Two of those defeats came in the Champions League and if they are harbour any hopes of progression, they need to land a result here.

Lazio currently top Group F after securing victory over Borussia Dortmund and earning a draw in Belgium. The latter result was all the more important given their raft of absences, but Simone Inzaghi has key men returning here.

Ferencvaros vs Juventus

Juventus lost 2-0 at home to Barcelona last time out in the competition and now face an uphill task to claim top spot in Group G. Juventus do at least have Cristiano Ronaldo back available, though they would have been expected to run out clear winners here without him. Nevertheless, his return is clearly a massive boost for the Old Lady moving forward and they should record a dominant win on Wednesday.

Ferencvaros battled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Dynamo Kyiv last week to earn their first point in the Champions League.

Club Brugge vs Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund lost their opening grouip game but bounced back with a 2-0 win over Zenit last week. They still haven’t clicked into top gear but are favourites heading into this match. They have won their last three matches and have not conceded in that time.

Club Brugge have made a good start in Group F with four points from their first two games, though would have been disappointed only to draw with a hugely depleted Lazio side last time out.

These two sides faced off in the 2018/19 group stage, with Dortmund managing a clean sheet in both matches. An away win is expected here, though the potential absence of Erling Haaland would make things more difficult, today’s UCL football predictions see Dortmund winning this with the game having at least 3 goals.

Barcelona vs Dynamo Kyiv

Match day 3 UCL football predictions move to Camp Nou for some odds. Barcelona are in control of Group G after winning 2-0 away to Juventus last time out in the Champions League. This should be a relatively easy night’s work for them. With Dynamo Kyiv dealing with an outbreak of COVID-19, their chances of an upset diminish further. It will be a hard night’s work for the away side.

RB Leipzig vs PSG

The two sides meet for the first time since Paris Saint-Germain beat RB Leipzig 3-0 in last season’s Champions League semi-final. RB Leipzig have lost back-to-back games without scoring after following up their shock 5-0 defeat to Manchester United with a 1-0 loss at Gladbach at the weekend.

Paris Saint-Germain have won three matches in a row without conceding since losing 2-1 at home to Manchester United but are without both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe on Wednesday.

Both sides have beaten Istanbul Basaksehir and lost to United across their opening two games in Group H. Both Thomas Tuchel and Julian Nagelsmann have something to prove here. It’s a tough match to call, particularly with PSG missing key players.
