EPL Match Day 10 Preview & Predictions

November 1, 2025

Hello, football fans! Welcome back to Zonal Football. We’ve got a massive slate of fixtures for Match Day 10, and I’ve crunched the numbers, checked the form, and finalized my Binocular’s Picks.

We have some huge clashes, including a massive London derby between Spurs and Chelsea, and a surprise top-of-the-table battle between Man City and high-flying Bournemouth!

Here’s my detailed breakdown of every game and why I’m backing these scores.

Brighton vs. Leeds

This is a clash of two teams hovering in the bottom half of the table, with Brighton in 13th and newly-promoted Leeds in 15th. While only a few points separate them, Brighton’s home form and H2H record are key. Leeds are winless in their last six encounters with the Seagulls and have never won at the Amex Stadium. I’m backing Brighton’s tactical setup to be too much for Leeds, securing a clean sheet and a vital 2-0 win.

Binocular’s Pick: 2-0

Burnley vs. Arsenal

This one looks like a mismatch on paper. Arsenal are sitting pretty at the top of the league, playing with incredible confidence and riding an eight-game winning streak (including six clean sheets!). Burnley, meanwhile, are 16th and will be deep in a defensive block. Arsenal’s quality and relentless attack should eventually break them down. Given the Gunners’ defensive solidity, a 0-2 away win feels like a safe and logical prediction.

Binocular’s Pick: 0-2

Crystal Palace vs. Brentford

This is a classic mid-table London derby. Palace (10th) and Brentford (11th) are separated by just one point. H2H stats show these two love a draw (5 in their last 8 meetings). However, Palace at home is always a tough outing, and Brentford has been inconsistent, trading wins and losses. I’m predicting a tight, nervy affair, but I’m just giving the edge to Palace to sneak a 2-1 win, possibly from a set-piece or a moment of magic from one of their attackers.

Binocular’s Pick: 2-1

Fulham vs. Wolves

This is a massive six-pointer at the bottom of the table. Fulham (17th) is hovering just above the drop zone, while Wolves are rock bottom in 20th and still searching for their first win of the season. Games like this are rarely classics. Expect a scrappy, defensive, and desperate fight. I’m backing Fulham, with the home-ground advantage at Craven Cottage, to grab the only goal in a 1-0 win that heaps more misery on Wolves.

Binocular’s Pick: 1-0

Nottingham Forest vs. Man United

This is a tale of two teams on opposite trajectories. Forest are in the relegation zone (18th) and have been in managerial turmoil, already on their third manager of the season. Manchester United, after a shaky start, has climbed to 6th and is on a three-game winning streak. United has the momentum and superior quality. Forest will fight hard at the City Ground, and I expect them to score, but United should have enough to see them off. A 1-2 away win looks very likely.

Binocular’s Pick: 1-2

Tottenham vs. Chelsea

This is my boldest pick of the week! On paper, 3rd-place Spurs hosting 9th-place Chelsea should favor the home side. But football isn’t played on paper. The H2H stats are staggering: Chelsea has dominated this fixture, winning 9 of the last 11 league meetings and the last four straight. In fact, despite their league position, Chelsea are the bookies’ favorites. I’m backing history and form in this specific derby. Spurs will struggle with Chelsea’s press, and I see the Blues pulling off a statement 1-3 win.

Binocular’s Pick: 1-3

Liverpool vs. Aston Villa

This is a crucial game for two teams level on points, with Liverpool (7th) and Villa (8th) both vying for European spots. Liverpool is in a shocking slump, having lost 6 of their last 7 in all competitions. Manager Arne Slot is under immense pressure. This is a must-win game at Anfield, and the home crowd will be demanding a reaction. Villa is a very good side, but I’m predicting Liverpool’s desperation and quality to just about see them through. Expect a nervy, close game, with the Reds scraping a 2-1 win.

Binocular’s Pick: 2-1

West Ham vs. Newcastle

This is another relegation-zone clash, with West Ham down in 19th place and in dreadful form (7 losses in 9 games). Newcastle (12th) hasn’t been perfect, but they are a solid mid-table side. The key stat here is Newcastle’s away record in this fixture: they are unbeaten in their last six games at the London Stadium. They won this exact fixture 0-1 last season. I’m predicting history to repeat itself. A 0-1 away win for the Magpies.

Binocular’s Pick: 0-1

Man City vs. Bournemouth

Match of the Day! This is a wild one: 5th-place Man City hosts a shocking, high-flying, 2nd-place Bournemouth! The Cherries are unbeaten in their last seven league games. However, Man City’s H2H dominance is absolute (15 wins in 16 meetings). This is the ultimate test of form vs. history. I can’t see Bournemouth’s streak surviving the Etihad, but I can see them giving City a massive scare. This will be a thriller, and I’m predicting a high-scoring 3-2 home win for City.

Binocular’s Pick: 3-2
